Blue, Parklife (1994)

This band is straight stupid and I love it. (Well, "love" might be too strong a word.) I can't even understand what they're saying.

It's this weirdo London Britpop, heavy on punk guitar and synth sound effects. The lead Damon Albarn's dialect is so pronounced, it really is hard to decipher the words.

This, then, has already become another entry in what is becoming a long list of punkish bands that I didn't know I would like. In my young age, I thought punk was too noisy ("Those darn kids"). Now, on the other hand...

Have you ever heard of this band? For one, I can't believe they were doing their best work in the 90s, a wasteland for this kind of music.
