The Rolling Stones, Between the Buttons (1967)

Have I finally found the one Rolling Stones album I wouldn't care to own? I think I might have.

Between the Buttons is The Rolling Stones at their most psychedelic, and frankly I don't dig it. I know, sorry, maybe that makes me a philistine, but all of this just sounds rather silly.

Something was wrong from "Yesterday's Papers," and it just didn't get better.

Oh well. So much the worse for them and not for me.

Thank God for Beggars Banquet and Aftermath. And I know I've listened to Exile on Main Street and maybe one other album but didn't blog it. Anyway, at least there are those albums in the world.
