Mott the Hoople, Mott (1973)

Their sound is off just enough for me not to like them. It's this kind of theater rock, which sometimes I like and sometimes I don't. Here I don't.

According to Wikipedia, Mott the Hoople is sometimes called glam rock, but if the album cover's aesthetic is any indication, they weren't doing the glam thing yet, just their theater rock stuff.
