The Rolling Stones, Out of Our Heads (1965)

Is there no end to the amount of albums The Rolling Stones put out? According to Wikipedia, this is their 3rd UK, 4th American studio album. What was going on with this band?

About half the songs are blues covers, the other half originals. The Stones' genius is you can't tell the difference between one set and the other.

I'll give this album two thumbs up even though relative to their other albums this seems like a lesser album.

Funny how that works. Funny that there are people who are such great artists that their lesser works are better than some competent artists' best works.

Speaking of great artists, let me use this as an opportunity to again promote the greatest living contemporary writer, Alice Munro. I'm almost finished with her collection called The Beggar Maid. It's very, very good. I highly, highly recommend it.
