Michael Jackson, Bad (1987)

Great album.

Of course, Michael Jackson was a bad person. We all know that now.

You know, it just occurred to me how arrogant an artist would have to be to call his album "Bad." Think about it. If it were anybody else but Michael Jackson in '87, people would say, "Why would you call your album 'Bad'? People are going to associate the title with the music. It's as though you're saying the music is bad."

I won't make cheap jokes at the expense of others, but we all know why Jackson could get away this: he got away with a lot of things.
