Here's AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted, Ice Cube's debut solo album. It has that dirty-mix sound of the late 80s / early 90s. I like it.

I think I like hip-hop most when it had just broken out in America as a socially conscious and raw musical genre. This album is right there in the pocket. It's angry and fearless and about people's real lives. There are still hip-hop artists who push for awareness but the breakout only occurred once, and this was a part of it.
